Agreed about our offense. Although I thought the same thing about 2013 with Laird, Bregs, Katz, Raph, McMullen, etc

Idk, admittingly I don't watch as much college ball as pro ball so it could be different, but I really subscribe to the idea that you want to keep the balls low and force hitters into hitting groundballs where you have four fielders covering a smaller amount of field

The issue with them was Katz and raph were slow. They all went after high stuff they usually could put out the park but because td ameritrade was designed by retards every fly ball dies. We should have went yard like 5 times vs ucla that year

Usually you do want to do that especially in the sec.
However because balls die in td ameritrade you can go high and get fly outs without much risk. The stadium plays good for the small ball teams that love to hit it on the ground put pressure on you with steals and stuff.

Very true. Feel more confident about Kramer, Duplantis, Watson, etc driving the baall and using their speed to our advantage. Really hope the bottom half of the order can make an impact and the freshman aren't caught up in the moment. If we get the Pap of the last 2 weeks, then we should be in business

I guess
Im not trying to argue or whatever . It just seems like that goes against general baseball strategy but that could be just the way it is due to the wonkiness of the college game

You are right it generally does go against what you would normally want to do. The west coast teams are built mainly on speed so when power is gone they can still win in td. LSU has had issues because we rely on power
