This is beyond false. The only thing that I can possibly imagine is that there is one class in the PE department that is for a full credit, and it is called something like "The History and Theory of Coaching" or some crap like that

Maybe all of the seniors on the team got into that class or something like that.

Easy major or no, Tebow made a good GPA at a Top 50 university and you have to give him credit for that.

Did he have a lot of help? Of course. Florida would be letting him down if they didn't get him help.

Did he have an easy major? Sure, but as the OP pointed out, there are still a core group of classes he passed and did well in.

That's the point, dude made a good GPA at a good school but can't get better than a 22 on the Wonderlic?

Those classes probably let you make a C or even a D to keep going. Plus most of us probably remember what a fricking joke intro level classes are.

At least Tebow got a degree.

I mean, I don't know what to say about that. Maybe the test is screwed. Maybe he didn't study properly. Maybe he froze.

Maybe he is just dumb and his GPA is the product of close attention from tutors.

He couldn't have made too many of those with his GPA.

I don't see why it's too shocking. Weren't there people in your high school classes who had 4.0 GPAs and very modest test scores?

There does not exist conclusive evidence either to support or deny said proposition.

the vast majority of scientific studies support the difference (about 15 points). Those that do not, hold up poorly to "scientific" scrutiny.

Many an isolated study can be found to support either outcome.

The studies that do not support the difference are the isolated one.

the overhwelming majority of legit studies show consistent results that have yet to be refuted

and this. ALl I would add is to state that "overwheliing majority" statement is an understatement.

Also check out the Bell Curve, which is outdated now. But the results (IQ, race, etc.) are still consistently supported.
