Regardless of the four teams picked this year, the CFP has been in need of expansion.

It's pretty tiring how Bama continues to get free passes. They don't even win their conference in some years and still get the benefit of the doubt. Mulligan U jumps from #3 to #1 when Michigan won by 39 points in the B10CG? UGA is a fraud, Bama doesn't deserve to jump 2 spots because they beat them. That simply ignores the LSU and Aub games where Bama, as usual, got all the luck in the world.

This is simply the committee picking winners and losers. CFB is becoming unwatchable.

Yeah it won't be pretty.

Either way.. glad to even be in a ny6 bowl in Tucker year 2. Hopefully K. Walker can have one good final game before he leaves.

That’s not really the point tho. If the committee had any alternative to Cincy at all, they wouldn’t have made it in, even despite them doing those things you listed

And I’m not saying that to argue they shouldn’t be in, I’m saying that’s how the committee operates and feels about G5 teams

Notable wins is a comical gauge for who is best suited for playoffs. Three of the last four times a team had not beaten a top 15 team in the regular season they won the championship. The other time they won the first playoff game.

The CFP or the NCAA or someone needs to figure out a way to make sure teams actually try and don’t have stars sit out and shite so that these bowls are amazing like we all want.
