College football is awesome....

All of these games with so much impact on where everyone ends up.
Great crowds, rivalries, intensity.
Tell these kids these games don't matter. Doak Campbell is about to fall over!!! Civil War. Bedlam in Norman. Penn State playing for pride. Iron Bo...eh well.
And the big one still to come tonight at the Colosseum.

That's why NFL will always be second in my house. I can watch most college football matchups with interest. Unless the Saints are playing, the tv is just background noise.

If it wasnt for fantasy football I probably wouldnt even watch the NFL. I love college football and basketball.

yea until the end of the season when several top teams get screwed out of a championship opportunity because there is no playoff system yet.

typical Baton Rouge mentality right there. I love both college and pro, but I'll take pro over college any day of the week. I like to watch the best of the best play, but to each their own. I notice in and around Baton Rouge most fans think that college football is the only sport on the planet while the rest of the country knows better.

They can still get conference titles or bowl game wins to make their season special.
NFL is great for 4 weeks.
College is great for 4 months.
I hate when some mediocre 6 or 7 loss NFL team gets hot in January and makes a run and all of a sudden they're supposed to be the year's best team.
