Why not just dig up Auerbach and Red Holtzman as assistants while they’re at it. Maybe Wooden can be an advisor with Press as the Director of Ops?

Coach K turned down the Lakers when they had Kobe Bryant. There's not a greater than ZERO chance he would ever even consider coaching the fricking Pelicans in his mid 70s. The man is probably halfway out of the door at Duke as it is.
