Surprised Riley would leave. One more good year at TCU and he would likely have some decent head coaching offers. I’m sure he’s going to be paid a ton.

The rumor was that G. Riley was happy at TCU, and wouldn’t leave except for a HC position. A&M spent a lot of time chasing Riley before circling back around to Petrino.

It must sting to see him jump ship to Clemson three days after his season ended.

one year TCU’s offense is in better shape than Clemson’s.

I know Morris was supposed to be the starter but Duggan, probably Quentin Johnston, possibly Kendre Miller all gone. Pretty veteran O line as well. TCU will have a lot of turnover.

Jeff Scott is the offensive coach in waiting. He moved back to Clemson this past month but stated he wanted to be out of coaching for at least a year. I think the USF contract stated something like that too. Riley leaves in a year or two and Scott is back in if he wants it.

Dabo throwing buddies under the bus to save his candy arse is nothing new. Great get for Clemson if Dabo keeps his big honker out of the offensive meeting room.

what a horrible take. He’s supposed to just stay with a shitty OC because he’s friends?

Reeks of sour grapes that Bama didn’t get him.

Damn, surprised Dabo had the sack for this

He’s fired two OC’s and a DC during his tenure. I think he’s just realized the program has become a little stale.

None of this will matter. FSU is taking over the ACC once again. That's my prediction.

O coordinator was Brandon Streeter, was a WR at Clemson as well.
You appear to be a Clemson fan and don’t even know Streeter was a starting QB?

What? There are a lot of things to dislike about Dabo, but he's arguably too loyal to his people. Losing to an 8-5 South Carolina team at home is unacceptable to Clemson fans. And then they followed that up with a lackluster offensive performance against UT, who gave up 63 points to the Gamecocks.

Why not both? I’m a Clemson fan and have watched every minute of every game this year. Streeters playbook was atrocious. I don’t think he knew you could throw to the middle of the field.

This is one reason he supposedly avoids the transfer portal. He’s loyal to his current players and recruits. If they stick around they won’t be replaced by someone transferring in.
