with that schedule you can. the big east is essentially a mid major this year.

But that's the glory of the BCS. They tend to prefer teams that are apart of it.

Then what the frick is the point of BCS conferences if an undefeated BCS team would get passed over?

If an undefeated non-BCS has a better SOS and the same win percentage, who the frick cares about the conferece?

I agree.
At the same time, I don't see anybody saying they're world-beaters. Just that they have an easy schedule(easy enough to make the BCS NC Game).

But it is a shame because I don't see anyone in the Big 10, Big 12, or SEC going undefeated. If USC beats Ohio State on Saturday, I think they could run the table. So, it's definitely a good chance that we see Cincy in the national title game

does nobody on here realize that Cincy loses to a garbage team every year? who cares if they have a cake schedule. they're going to drop a game. my god ive never seen so many people jump on such a crappy bandwagon so early.

Oh no, I'm not jumping on the bandwagon, that's for sure. I would rather see a one loss Florida take on a one loss Texas or something like that in the national championship game. The only good i get from seeing Cincy or maybe BYU in the NCG, is that the playoff format will be talked about so loudly if it does happen

They dropped one to UConn last year, who lost Donald Brown and will be back to shite stain status this year.

If you watched them get curb stomped by Missouri, what exactly showed you that they can beat Cincy?

well i think cincy was a better team last year than they are this year and they lost to Uconn 40-16. so yes its not out of the realm of possibility for them to lose a game.

Why is that? They return their best skill players, their dominant pass rusher, and retain their offensive line.

Their secondary is going to be much weaker this year, but who is going to exploit that?

im not worried about their offense. it'll be good.

but its not just their secondary. they only return 1 starter on defense.
