They chanted this despite this news making the rounds all of yesterday

quote:

Ahead of BYU’s game with Cincinnati on Saturday, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sent a 27,000 pound food donation for Cincinnati’s on-campus Bearcats Pantry to support students facing food insecurity.

It’s the largest single donation in the Pantry’s history.

This is not acceptable. It’s fine (though still trashy) to chant “f the cougars” but this is not that.

Trashy Cincy fans. It’s in their DNA. They can’t help themselves.

The moral to this story is when people have such an irrational hatred for you for whatever reason, don't donate anything to them or help them in any way.

They're not going to appreciate it and still would stab you in the back at the first opportunity

The moral of the Story is it’s all in good fun. Chants at football games are as old as time. No one except low T men or grannies would get their panties in a bunch over that

Like someone above already said, if they had been chanting frick the Cougars I would agree with you on this. But they were going beyond that

Show this to the boosters that want piped in music because their virgin ears can’t handle hearing STTDB

This is what real trash looks like

Mmm… I’m normally one to not care about this stuff. But, imagine chanting frick the Jews or frick the Muslims at a sporting event.

I’d imagine just about every BYU fan is a practicing Mormon so it’s pretty fricked up.

Imagine saying “frick the Irish!” BYU are Mormons and it’s a funny chant. Very fitting at a football game.

since when are they the BYU Mormons?
Last I checked it's the ND Fighting Irish.

Not the same thing, but you already knew that.

Yes I don’t care. And no one is actually chanting “frick the fighting Irish” that doesn’t roll off the tongue well at all.

No doubt… with that being said … LSU and every other SEC school probably would do this same chant…also in this climate I could imagine if Tulane somehow made a run in the playoffs what the chants would be
