It’s pretty awesome going to a cold football game. Your beer doesn’t get warm.

There's only been 8 games played at Lambeau where the temp was 80 or higher.

Meanwhile 5 of the ten coldest games in NFL history have been played there.

Have been there for games in the 20's and it's not bad as long as you have something to sit on. Otherwise the aluminum seats will frost your nuts fast.

If it's not rainy/windy...it's not bad at all.

And LA/Texas is hot af in the summer. You can wear more clothes up here in the winter and stay comfortable. There is no escaping the swamp arse in the south come summer!

Our bucket list includes a Packers Bears game in late Dec. Any tips on preparing for the cold?

Bring a piece of styrofoam to stand on in your seats to insulate the cold from the concrete entering your boots. Wear snow boots, gloves, snow pants and a hat while packing as many hand warmers into your pockets.

Also, stay in Appleton not Green Bay.

Wait. You said they never had a home game over 90 then said they've had it once.

I was at the coldest game in pro football history there. Your hot chocolate was cold by the time you walked 10 feet from the concession stand.

OSU fans aren't the reason I left, but they damn sure made it easier to do so.

That said, I'd take 20-30 degree temps over 90-100 any day of the week.
