Maybe the mafia family that owns Oaklawn will buy them. They've done an incredible job renovating and adding major upgrades in the Hot Springs track.

Surprising. It seems like that would be their big moneymaker, and even more-so in the future as online betting is more common and accepted.

I really like their sports betting app in Tennessee, hope nothing changes because of this.

At first I thought you meant they were selling the actual spires, that would have really been hard up for cash.

I haven't used it in Michigan, but I think it's the only app you can bet horse racing. That has to be worth a fortune in a world where most of them are similar.

Guy and family who own oaklawn are from the 314. Owned the track for a long time. Mr cella made a lot of money in real estate in at.louis. been a 314 his whole life. Wanted to build a track in st.louis and I believe unions and greedy politicians screwed it all up, if I remember correctly.

I've been hearing from horsemen that tbe Cella family eventually want to build a turf course and get a breeders cup. Money is no option.
