so no one disagrees about Chuck being there?

for the record i don't.

I think he's the best LHW of all time. A. Silva might have something to say about that shough.

I don't, but I do wish they would wait for him to officially retire first.

Thanks for the info...i tried to look it up, but my boss is on the prowl. Chuck should be in the HOF for sure. Just cause someone is past their prime now should not keep someone out of the HOF. If Chuck changed his fighting style could he turn things around?

Randy Couture and Mark Coleman are also in the HOF and are both still fighting in the UFC. However Randy was inducted when he retired.

These HOF inductees were the worst kept secret for months. This is old news.

He will never be considered the best LHW. Best MW for sure.

I really think he's gonna retire in the next year or so. He has nothing to prove to anyone. The only motivation I see for him is the LHW belt, but like you said, he won't fight Machida.

Chuck is all but retired...or atleast not fighting in UFC anymore...Dana has made that clear. They are still boys and Chuck will still make money from UFC...just not from fighting.

As far as being "officially" retired...what's it matter if they announce it or not...Coleman, Couture, Gracie....have all fought after everyone thought they were done w/ UFC..and some fighting in general.

As far as Shamrock goes....he was the face of UFC in the early years....did he deserve it? Maybe. Has he made himself look like an arse buy fighting still and just making money? Yes....but athletes in every sport have done that...look at any one past their prime playing for a different team than one they became famous for and it didn't work out. Shammy deserves to be in. He had alot to do w/ the growth of UFC. Can say what you want about how he never beat anyone etc. but how pumped were you for Tito vs Shamrock 1? That means he was someone.

If Chuck fights again it will be for the UFC. Dana would never allow Chuck to fight for another organization.
