One of my football coaches growing up that played at Ole Miss. he was an absolute freak physically. Within 2 years of being diagnosed with ALS he died.

Awesome letter. There is so much suffering in this world, and CJ is showing us all how to respond. Too many people spend all of their energy wishing it away, when responding to it with courage and love can show us all what it truly means to be human.

man that sucks. That's not a dad that needs to be taken from his family this early. I feel for CJ2K, his wife, and his kids.
Reading that just makes me angry. Like I want to beat the crap out of this disease physically and defeat it, and there's just nothing you can do about it. It is an awesome letter though, and had me tearing up, but i just can't help but be angry that we can't defeat this. It's not fair, and as CJ said, life isn't always fair. frick ALS.
If there's just one thing I hope AI can contribute to this world, it is finding a cure to things like this.
