Don't get mad at Chip for owning the left coast the past few seasons.

fwiw, just b/c he's a spread option guru in college doesn't mean he'll hire an OC to run that in the NFL

That's what I was thinking.

No way he'll be successful. Why would Tamps go after him? ... Weird.

I just don't see how Chip would work in the NFL. It seems to me like he's too cute in his play design and too laid back to just coach like a manager of the other coaches.

I don't necessarily buy into the impending ncaa doom theory either. Not a comparable situation to Petey bailing for instance.

You're insane. I think JT would be a much better NFL coach than Chip. (Not that I'm saying either would completely work)

I agree. Chip is probably the most fricking random hire I've seen in awhile.

This stinks of two things:

Oregon is getting ready to get the NCAA ban hammer.

Everyone worth a shite really has said No to the Bucs (and I can't say I blame them with the idiots they have running that organization).

well they're still not as bad as the raiders a few years ago, when they got turned down by a college OC and had to go to another college OC. that's about as low as you can go

Dooley's wool pants + Oregon uniforms = seizures galore.

I'm hearing that Patterson and Petersen are Oregon's top targets.
