The only thing that concerned me in the two games I watched, is Baez swong at some terrible pitches. There is no doubt that he physically can play the game, but his knowledge of the strike zone needs a lot of work. A whole lot. Bryant and Soler seemed to be ahead of him in that area. Significantly.

The arm he showed on that play was unbelievable. I didn't think there was any way he would pull that off.

Everyone wows over his bat, he's got a hell of an arm.

I have video of both Bryant and Soler's HRs. I have a lot of pics too. I'm going to try to find a way to post them on Monday.

Bryant and Soler are going to be the real deals. Baez is probably the player with the lowest floor and that scares me a little, but he had put up great progress this season.

The Iowa Cubs completely outclassed the Zephyrs. It was impressive. Mike Olt is also swinging well and he appears to have made a change in his swing.

That would be awesome.

I agree 100% Bryant is a stud. Even most of his outs were loud outs over the past week. Soler is a physical specimen who has a lot of potential. Baez does worry me too, mainly because of his pitch selection

They definitely outclassed the Zephyrs. Olt looked pretty good too. Hope it works out for him. I'm not sure where he will play though.

These are my videos:

Bryant's HR

Soler's HR

I apologize for the videos being shot vertically. I was really pumped and completely lost all my common sense.

is it bad that when Luis fouled the ball hard off his foot on sunday my first thought wasn't "is he okay" but rather "maybe this will cause baez to come up"

Thanks! I sort of don't have any problems with Bryant's defense at third. Soler has a rifle.

Boom.

Let the unreasonable expectations begin.

So in a span of 3 days, E Jax beat the dodgers and baez makes his MLB debut. Watch out for flying pigs.

It's happening.
