i know nothign about him...but i know we have no catching so...hooray i guess.
Decent hitting catcher so far, but young of course. .279/.352/406 line for us in A ball this year. Our 5th to 7th best prospect depending on how you rank them I'd imagine. I'd say he's a good get for what you gave up.

2nd Rd pick in last year's draft. Switch hitting catcher. Consensus top 10 in Braves fermentation system.

He's got a good BB rate. How Theo.

Win a world series with a walk off walk. Theo dies of excitement.

I just have to wonder (other than Russell) what other offers that Freidman got for Price. There's just no way that was the best offer.

If it happens at Clark and Addison, a lot more people than just Theo would be dying of excitement.

I'm trying to find the I-Cubs lineup for tonight. I saw tweets that Hoyer says Baez not coming up.

It usually gets posted on this twitter account about an hour before the game. I can't find it anywhere earlier than here:

Baez not coming up to replace Bonifacio, per Hoyer

Could be Logan Watkins. In the pen, could be Doubront or Fujikawa.
Neil Ramirez was not optioned to AAA earlier...he was placed on the 15 day DL with a tight triceps. Injury is not serious, and most probably fake.

Watkins is already on the 40 man, so it'll probably be him.

Baez called up, Soler and Bryant to rest tomorrow night.
