re: Check in if you can run a faster 40 time than La'el Collins

A high school teammate benched 225 34 times as a junior at a team camp at a BCS/P5 college. That would have ranked 6th in the 2015 combine.

The coaches of this school, (HC, DC) dropped what they were doing to look for themselves because no college player on their roster could come close to doing what this HS junior did in front of their eyes.

How many D1-A offers did you he get? 0. He may have had 1 D1-AA and a bunch of DII. He was 5'11 280ish, slow and always wore down if he played too much. He went to a D-II school and quit after 1 year. Great guy however.
