If you want kids to play in bowl games give them the cash equal to the bowl swag you were going to give out
I like that idea pay each participant the cash and if they decide to not play do not give

Even some of the non-playoff bowl games are really intriguing to me.
Peach and Sugar will have two schools that used to have top CFB programs and have gotten the hottest coaches, but have fallen short so far. They'll both be going against big name SEC schools and both will travel well.
Fiesta has the small program that talks a big game as they go against a legitimately good SEC team in LSU. LSU can make it fun because they tend to keep teams close rather than run the score up. The only let down is that UCF will be using their backup QB.
PAC 12 sucks this year. I wish Ohio State were playing an SEC team.

The only College in Louisiana to ever officially be known as the "University of Louisiana" vs that little College in Lafayette with Delusions of Grandeur that think they're worthy of being called the "University of Louisiana" more than the little College in Monroe does.
Realistically, every College in the State of Louisiana should be a Junior College except for LSU, Tulane, La.Tech, Southern and Grambling.
All the rest should be JC's in their own exclusive State of Louisiana JUCO football Conference...……...
