I totally agree that adding the 12th game is some retarded shite. I liked it when it was 11 games.

ACC>>>>>Big East
Good god, I hate the Big East. What kind of conference allows 8 football teams and 16 basketball teams? If it wasn't for basketball, the Big East would be on par with the Conference USA and MAC.

Its funny b/c BE team came in and dominated from day 1. VT was a run of the mill BE except during the Mike Vick era and they come into the ACC and wipe the floor with everyone

You mean the same run of the mill team that took 2001 Miami down to the wire, beat a Saban coached team by three touchdowns and had a winning record against the SEC while they were in the Big East. If that's a run of the mill team, what has West Virginia done for the last twenty years without Pat White?

And they had to steal teams from CUSA to be where they are right now...

those were the best years they had while in the BE b4 that they were run of the mill
20 years before pat white???? Does Major Harris ring a bell WVU played for the national tittle twice 1989 and 1994

add with those additions they are still better than the ACC.

Ok, how about Miami going into the shitter right after joining the ACC? They were winning 10+ games and playing for national championships in the Big East. Miami joins the ACC and haven't sniffed a BCS bowl game since. What about nothing programs like Rutgers, South Florida, Louisville and Cincinnati suddenly being in the national title hunt in recent years? Or the second best team in the Big East this year getting their butts kicked by N.C. State of all teams? West Virgnia and Pitt are the only football programs in the Big East that are even half way respectable historically. All the other teams are garbage.

they fumbled inside the 5 with a chance to win the game, they choked they didn't get their butts kicked
I grew up in VT country and most of their fans were happy about the move b/c the path to a BCS bowl became a whole lot easier, but once they jumped ship they claimed the ACC was one of the best

BIGGEST VILLAIN: The BCS
Much more than they do toward any individual, fans annually direct their angst toward the cartel of conferences that oversees the sport's aggravating postseason. At the start of the decade, the BCS was just two years old, and its overlords changed the formula near-annually in response to the previous year's controversy. It's remained unchanged since 2004, but criticism of the system has only amplified due to both the lack of a clear-cut No. 1 vs. 2 matchup since 2005, and the proliferation of successful BCS outsiders like Utah and Boise State.
2006: Florida had a better record and tougher schedule than Michigan.
2007: LSU had a better record and/or a tougher schedule than anyone else up for consideration.
2008: Florida and Oklahoma had better records and tougher schedules than anyone else up for consideration.
2009: Texas and Alabama have tougher schedules than anyone up for consideration.
#1 and #2 have been clear-cut every single time since 2005. That is, unless you just prefer to pretend that something is controversial.

Anybody who thinks the ACC is better than the Big East is just not that good at math.
Since the ACC expanded, it has been better than the Big East once. In fact, in 2006, if you took away the bottom four of the ACC, the Big East was still better than the ACC's top 8.
