I've only skimmed the rest of the lines for this week -- hey I wanted some action on a Tuesday night....is that so wrong? -- but as a Vol, I couldn't help but notice that that line seemed a little high. When I checked it earlier today on scores and odds it was -16.5.
I had that line set at -12.5
I never ever bet ON the Vols, and I'm not about to break the rule this Saturday, but if you put a gun to my head, and made me take a side, I would have to go with the Vols and the points on that one. Auburn is struggling on offense right now, and I think the Florida game has resulted in perception being that UT is worse than they actually are.
To be clear, I'm not wearing orange colored glasses, or drinking the orange kool aid, or whatever expression you prefer, and I am well aware that we aren't worth a shite this year. I'm simply saying that we aren't quite as putrid as the totality of our scorelines would suggest.
We'll lose to Auburn, but I could reasonably see us keeping it close in a game where both offenses basically reek even worse than my nuts do.

App hasn't played anyone besides Penn State who they likely caught way off guard breaking in new OC, RB, etc.

And anyone who knows me or has followed my posts knows thats not how i bet. Its a great spot for lsu. Georgias defense is overrated IMO. They struggle to get pressure. Lsu’s oline struggles at times, but this isnt a bad matchup for them. Couple that with lsu coming off a loss, and i think this spread should be closer to a 2 or 3. Ill take the 7, and honestly think its close to 50/50 they win.

I'd bet everything I owned on GA if they only had to win by a field goal. They are a touchdown better team than LSU. The O line got exposed against Florida.
I hope LSU wins the game, and I think they can, but Georgia is a better team and it would be a moderate upset.

If you want ask me about my picks, feel free to ask and I'll tell you why I choose that pick. Which I've done just about every week and over the last 2 years. I'd feel that's the point of the fkn thread.

iowa st made the move to brock purdy at qb last week. he had 318 4td/1int, 84 rushing.
white kid out of arizona. 3* freshman but man apparently he can play. i think tough task against the mountaineers but you never know.
eta: (from i st media guide):: father, Shawn, played baseball at Miami (Fla.) and in the minor leagues (1991-98)

i dont think i can take the freshman pulls the upset, but it is gonna be 46 in ames. possible rain. may be sloppy and the under is a play. we are in for some winter weather this weekend. something to keep an eye on. a hurricane is hitting the same time as a cold front.
