Just like you assume going for 2 and getting it wins it

You kick it and go to OT

Going for 2 is the obvious call unless you hate basic statistics and math.

Clay Helton would have kicked...

IU defensive holding to negate a fumble recovery.

Is Clemson 2015 Ohio State again? Way better than their opponents but they just don’t have the chemistry?

I doubt it's chemistry. Lawrence has been average all year and the rest of the team is thinking they can run the table going at half speed, and they kinda can because the ACC is trash.

What you don't do is run the same look you used on the previous 4th down call, and still run with the motion.

You are the lesser team, plain and simple. Idc if you're "at home" in a stadium that's 40% Clemson - the longer this game goes, the better chance you lose.

Minnesota had a huge lead over Purdue with 6 minutes in the fourth quarter (38-17) now it's 38-31 with 3 1/2 minutes and they're playing not.to.lose!

Like Phil Collins once said, "they're throwing it all away".

Exactly. If everyone is so sure Clemson goes down and gets a field goal, then what is going for 2 going to do?

Don’t you dare melt over the Hoosiers! You’re a disease worse than Peej picking a team to win

Clemson had plenty of time to drive the field regardless. It wasn't playing for the win. It removed any chance his team had at that point

You're playing the result.

Spartans tack on a FG. IU will have about 3:30 to try to tie it with a TD.

We're not sure of anything, but they damn sure aren't going to play for OT. That's absurd. 76 seconds and a timeout is an eternity either way. At least you give yourself a chance to win with the 2.

Bro you tried telling me ND played the end of the first half perfectly last week.

Your in game strategy is questionable at best.

For as big of a stat dork as slack is, this sounds a heck of a lot like gut/feel:
