my own problem with those calls is that it bails out an underthrown duck of a ball. i mean sure, he made contact, whatever. but a lot of that contact came from the receiver going back to catch the ball and theres not much the defender can do there

It’s why 15 yards for PI is better. NFL QBs are good enough that they seem to intentionally leave it short to draw the call
I hate WR hit the breaks to back to underthrown ball PI calls so much
