Today proved we're going to have a 4-loss national champion in the very near future. No one has depth like they used to and players just can't handle a 9 game conference schedule. Expanded playoff is going to be absolutely brutal

Last two years I feel the 12 team playoff generally shaped up pretty nicely
This year looks to be an absolute cluster frick.
24 teams even more insane. You’re absolutely right. You could see a team like LSU get in this year at 9-3 and frankly on a neutral field they could beat anyone. Same can be said with other teams.
It’s basically going to become the NFL since teams are more balanced with how the transfer portal is and the top teams aren’t as deep.
Having a coach that can roster build and actually coach Xs and Os will be far more important. Which is why I’m absolutely thrilled to have Lane
