If the offensive team fumbles out of bounds, they shouldn’t get the ball where they fumbled from. It should go back to the line of scrimmage. They lost possession. They don’t have a right to the ball. But you gotta give the ball to someone, so you give it to the team no last possessed it… fine.. but go back to the line of scrimmage. It should be treated like an incomplete pass.
