They have one of the largest football budgets of the Big XII prospects, only about an hour from Denver and Fort Collins isn’t that much smaller than Orlando, 40K stadium, 35K students, Land-Grant and geographic fit with the plains Big XII schools.
Not even getting considered based on reports - I think that’s because of a losing all time record and only two bowl wins in two decades.

I wonder why CSU was so quick to hire Addazio after they canned Bobo? He never did better than 7-6 at Boston College in 7 years.

They always make uninspired hires. Since Sonny Lubick retired they’ve gone with Steve Fairchild, Jim McElwain, Mike Bobo, and Steve Addazio.
