Question: Do district champs get a more favorable seed in the playoffs or is seeding based strickly on power ranking?

district champs all get in, even if they are below 32nd in the power ratings...

in 5A, carencro could potentially share the 3-5A championship with a power rating in the 40s and knock out whomever finishes 32nd

but except for that, seeding is based only on power ratings...

I'm seeing Catholic pulling it out, but it will be a low scoring game. And that whole flip thing is unsportsman like conduct

If Central wins the game, they win the title outright. But if Catholic beats Central, then they need Denham to lose to Scotlandville Friday to win the district title.

Get your facts straight... If Catholic wins and Denham wins they SHARE the title....

scot. and denham play tonight if scot wins this game is going to be insane.

From what I saw from each team playing vs Central, Scot is way bigger, faster and more physical than DS. They just make so many mistakes. Scot is a dangerous team and could easily beat DS.........

Foolis call by the official. What exactly was unsportsmanlike about it? It was a gadget play that should have never drawn a flag

I asked another official that i know about it and he said that they are trying to "protect the sanctity of the game." They see it as taunting. This is of course up for interpretation, but I have to agree with them. It is also the only gimmic play that I can think of that had a flag on it

Is this game at Olympia or Memorial? I've heard different people say different things.

Olympia is tiny. Catholic will take uptheir side and probably part of the central side so get there early.
