All credit to state. 4 plays really flipped this game badly now. Smith lost all confidence after that interception it looked like.

How did LA tech have 3rd and goal from their own 7. I'm still very confused I flipped to the game and it was 3rd and goal and they were on the complete other side of the field

A fumble they kept kicking backwards fighting for ball resulting in 87 yard loss. That about sums up tonight. A blocked punt for td, a int & fumble returned inside the 10, and another fumble from state 5 yard line brought back for a td. That'll flip a score to point you can't recover.

Just got back from this game. We left in the 4th qtr when Tech had it 3rd & 93. I cannot make this up. We were utterly humiliated. We are not who we thought we were. The search for a real QB starts now.

We went to Ruston to watch this game - I have never seen an FBS team inside the other team's 10 yard line so many times and end with so many disasters.
LaTech must have been inside the MSU 10 yard line 5 times and it ended in disaster nearly each time.
La Tech's quarterback has no idea how to protect the football.
I love MSU's defense - players flying all around - the new D coordinator is making a difference - MSU looks like an SEC defense again.

This is definitely not the Tech team from the last 2-3 seasons. Horrible decision making at qb, poor attention to detail at many positions. We started the game off strong and as soon as things started going south it all started falling apart.
