I told you all that I would give you updates on the Iona Gaels should you want to place a bet on or against them.
The 11-3 Gaels are home tonight (for the first itme in 39 days) against Niagara. Iona defeated Niagara in upstate NY back on December 4, 98-62.
The Gaels last game of 2011 was a real stinker. We got thumped by Hofstra because we played the worst first half of basketball we played in a couple of years. It was very ugly. Iona cut an 18 point down to 6 with about 4 minutes left, but couldn't get over the hump.
Iona played its first game of 2012 at Madison Square Garden last Monday night against Siena. We were laying 16 and won 95-59. Sophomore Sean Armand scored Iona's last 20 points of the first half and finished the game with 32 (10 threes).
Iona is a fun team to watch when they play at their tempo. A little defense would be nice, though.
I've seen tonight's lines as high as Iona laying 21.5. Can we cover that? Sure. Will we, I just do not know. The staff is experimenting with different lines when we're up big.
Time for me to get back to work. Good luck on your wagers today.
Go Gaels!!!

I've read Marist has 2 injuries, but they're still the vastly better team.
The teams avg a combined 140.8 PPG and Marist is banged up.
Doing all my own capping tonight unless IC's hockey.
