Lakers fans should be nervous about this possibility more than any other.

I don't think this trade will happen but if he goes to the Celtics/Cavs, I will be nervous

Lots of talk of Melo and Wade buyouts.

Fun lineup here, let's make it happen!!!

Kyrie
Wade/JR Smith
Paul George/Melo
Lebron
Tristan Thompson/Faried

Come playoff time, Lebron will still have no help

meh. paul george is something that should always have been considered a luxury. for where we are as a franchise, we should be focused on building a foundation (ie, NOT TRADING YOUNG PLAYERS WITH POTENTIAL) instead of hunting for stars like paul george and lebron if paul george wants to come next summer, awesome, but if not, thats perfectly ok

Pretty much where I'm at. I'd love to land George but not at the expense of Ball or Ingram. I'd like to hang onto Randle one more year just to see if he develops more but he's about to get expensive so whatever. Clarkson is meh.

If the Lakers don't trade for George and instead go for him and another max player next year, I would rather go after Cousins than Lebron tbh. A sustained run would be far more enjoyable than a 2 year window and back to the shitter again.

Lebron = paper champion.

Every one of his titles have been bought. Not 1 team was built and kept together. He's such a joke!

Apparently Russell got booed when he showed up for the Big 3 today in the Barclays Center

Is there an extension to his contract clause in the trade

If not that is stupid of the Cavs
Unless they trade with an extension clause they are destroying their franchise.
Maybe that is why the GM was fired

This fits the George and Lebron to the Lakers. Play one season in Cleveland. Somewhat like preparing each other for the big time

What is the situation with Kyrie Irving

I'll say it, I don't think adding PG while losing Love moves the needle as much as the Cavs would like. If they could SOMEHOW keep Love and get George then yeah, but there's no way that could happen. PG is definitely an improvement over Love, but still.

So the Cavs solution to getting out rebounded by Steph Curry in the Finals is to get rid of the only guy besides LeBron that can consistently pull down boards? I don't get it.

Building or retooling a team to beat GS, trying to go the "outrebound them" route isn't really the best way to go IMO.

It's just crazy to me that a team with LeBron, kyroe, and PG wouldn't be the best team in the league. That's how good GS is. It's nuts.

Not just that, but it would seemingly still not even be close.

Pretty sure GS would still be a huge favorite in the Finals.

Adding PG to a team that has the best player in the league and still having a huge gulf between them and GS, yea just crazy.

It's because LeBron, Kyrie, and PG wouldn't complement each other that well on the court. The Warriors have excellent synergy and depth, they would beat that Cavs line up any day.
