Cashing/depositing a check from Bovada.....UPDATED

I'll be getting my check from them in a few days and I'm trying to get an idea of where I can cash it or if Regions will let me deposit it in my checking account.
I just don't want any trouble with it being an international check. Any advice from experiences y'all had?

My experience from cashing a few checks from sportsbook are that your bank won't give a shite. Deposit it on the app before walking in personally though

not sure what bovada is doing, but betonline is having their Canadian banks send the checks in US funds.
So no more having to wait for bank to send to fed, then wait as they force it trough
Got my latest check 2 weeks ago and it cleared in 3 days. Lady said since it's in US funds, it will clear asap.
hopefully all the books are doing this, although bovada is crap.

Yeah I'm worried that it's going to be a hassle, and in the end, I won't be able to deposit it in my Regions account and I'll have no where to cash it either.

I had to mail the check to the main branch in San Antonio then wait about 2 weeks for it to clear. Pretty easy process considering.

No, they do not pay out on a credit card like they did last year.

So my check was cut in Singapore and now in Hong Kong 
It will be here Thursday and I'm stressing that regions won't let me deposit and I'll lose the whole check. Someone put my mind at ease.

Worst case scenario is they will put a hold on it for a few days. depends on if the back office isn't being ball busters.

How much is check for? If you have compensating funds they should let you cash unless teller is being really strict.

I've cashed a few from Bovada and I have no doubt I'm on some list. They've all eventually cleared though. Good luck

The check is for $2,000. I just plan on trying to deposit it in my checking account.

Agree. You should be ok. The back office most likely sees those checks all the time...if you tried to cash it on the other hand I could see a teller freaking out.
