It took them all of one month to realize what all of major league baseball already knew. So now they have a 5-year $85 million contract with a DH who is a .250 15-20 HR hitter.

Marmol isn’t the one making decisions. You are clueless if you think he isn’t getting every single marching order from upstairs. Marmol was just the puppet Mozeliak picked to feed his directions to. There’s a reason Schildt wasn’t retained. He wasn’t going to let the front office dictate every single thing he did.
