re: Can I get an update on BR middle school basketball season?

I am not sure if espn released the results on sportscenter this morning, because I didn't get a chance to watch it, but:

Our Lady of Mercy cut down the nets after defeating Sacred Heart 35 to 32. Our Lady of Mercy, a 5 seed, becomes the lowest seed in recent memory to win the elite 8 championship.

St. George blew out St Theresa in the 3rd place game, and St. Jude blew out St. Jean Vianney in the 5th place game.

This was one of the wildest seasons in years. Below are the final rankings based on the tournament along with preseason rankings in parenthesis:

6. St. Jean Vianney (unr)

This has been a great season, and the packed gym last night sealed it off. Congrats to Our Lady of Mercy for their second straight championship.
