serious question:

What’s more valuable for this space:” free” ads on shows like pardon my take and spittin chiclets, as well as the entire social media network that has millions of followers
Or
Constant tv commercials

I honestly have no idea

The "ads" running within their own mediums are highly valuable, but only serve to further solidify their already dominate hold over that part of the market. Sure the shows have massive followings and reach, but at the end of the day not everyone is a Barstool fan/consumer of their content.

I think it's a good start for them since it's laying the foundation on sturdy ground by getting all the Stoolies to fall in line and make the Barstool Sportsbook their preferred gambling choice, but if they hope to continue growing their market share past their existing base then they will need to push to more standard/non-Barstool connected forms of marketing/advertising to reach the demographic segments out of their current reach at Barstool.

. I get sports gaming I guess but if you’re playing table games or slots on your phone you have a problem

Are these tied to credit cards or do you have to deposit cash before you wager?

It's not illegal to deposit by credit card if it's legal in your state, but sometimes your credit card company will jam up the transaction if they think it's fraud. Most of these sites seamlessly let you pick any bank in the country and do a debit from a checking account.

As far as getting addicted, yes, it's very easy. Sports aside, I have probably spent hundreds of hours playing stupid electronic blackjack and had some awful runs. But, by fluke, I took a bonus from MGM and am up a few grand because I couldn't cash out and just played and kept winning one day.

Also not to play the morality police, but smartphone gambling is such a slippery slope that will ruin lives. I get sports gaming I guess but if you’re playing table games or slots on your phone you have a problem

I am 100% pro gambling, but legal online sports books + smartphones is 100% going to become the next “epidemic.” Once again, I will never say we should restrict free choice just because some people can’t handle it, but you are right it will ruin a lot of lives.

Edited the original post - Missed the news from a few days ago about this deal. I guess Caesars has a pretty good handle on LA now with Saints/LSU partnerships.
Although Penn National owns L'Auberge.
