Rule 8, Article 3, Item 5: If a pass is caught simulataneously by two eligible opponents, and both players retain it, the ball belongs to the passers. It is not a simultaneous catch if a player gains control first and an opponent subsequently gains joint control.

simultaneous catch is not an "end point"...it is a beginning

both players have to have the ball to start for it to be simultaneous

Jennings had the ball and had the catch before Tate ever put a hand on it

it is in no way simultaneous possession

GB guy does have have a legal catch until he has two feet down right? At which time Seattle has both hand and two feet down

god you're a moron. Read the rule again, but this time with comprehension. It clearly states that when determining possession what's important is who catches the ball first not, who can get two hands on before the other guy hits the ground. It specifically mentions what Tate did and says that it's not a simultaneous catch

You're talking about a completed pass. The simultaneous possession rule is talking about the act of catching the ball. If a guy catches a ball out of bounds, he still caught the ball. It's just not a complete pass.
