I swear, God forbid we take pride in what we have done with our athletic program lately.

Jesus Christ man, grow a pair. You start a thread on your percieved rival's website , claim to not want to start a pissing match, and then whine when that's what happens. Nobody said not to have pride in your school .....

As a Tulane fan, I have no problem admitting that ULL has passed us by in athletics. By a lot.

Tulane's administration is the problem. Even though, the academics is great, athletics is the number 1 marketing tool for your university. And the administration obviously doesn't understand that. There's no reason why Tulane shouldn't be # 2 behind LSU. Hopefully, that new stadium will bring some excitement back to the program.

Not really by a lot. We're about even in football and ULL has pretty much reached its ceiling there. Basketball ULL really isn't that good, they won a very weak conference tournament, otherwise they'd have been in the same worthless "postseason" tournament that Tulane was in.

They're obviously way ahead in baseball right now .

They're the #2 program right now, but that can change rather quickly.

Just walk around any place in Louisiana and look for all of the LSU shirts being worn. You can't tell me that all of them went there.

The football teams looked pretty even to me, 3pt game. Missed FG that would have tied the game. Tulane is bringing in better recruiting classes with CJ and their move to a much better conference.

Tulane is trending up, the NOLA Bowl is as good as it's going to get for ULL.

Good for ULL. There is plenty of instate talent for there to be another respectable athletic program. I think the financial support for the athletics facilities is what's most impressive. Very nice considering the school's size.

Being from North LA, Tech fans are in complete denial in how much more impressive ULL's fan base is compared to Tech's. Pretty sure Tech has had an endzone expansion planned for like 3 year's now and still can't come up with the money.
