Looks like the New Orleans market is taking notice of what UL has done with all of its athletics lately. I believe we are well on our way to being known as the clear cut #2 Ahtletic Program in the state behind LSU.

I'm not looking for a pissing match thread, just an honest discussion about what some of you outsiders think about our program as a whole lately. Is there any other in-state school under LSU that is even close to UL's succes in all sports right now? Much less, any one particular sport?

Yep we sure did, but we are also 31-4 on the season. LSU lost to Tulane and I don't think that means Tulane is any better than LSU.

Petty responses are petty.

Its pretty obvious ULL is the #2 in the state in athletics

Elite softball program, #1 or #2 in the state, depending on the year
Great baseball program, #2 in the state
Football team is going to a bowl game every year #2 in the state
Basketball is probably #3

ULL sports are on the rise and performing quite well, I think the battle for second best in the state is between ULL and Tech and I give ULL the edge right now.

Well when you come in here and proclaim the greatness of UL, do you expect everyone to bow down and kiss the ring?

Why even start this thread if not to incite a pissing contest? These threads always end up like that
