As has been noted a dozen times by the commentators and every national sports person, he has a gimp leg and his offensive line is horrible. They do not want him hurt worse by holding the ball long.

Stop with this bullshite narrative of “he’s playing hurt!”… no he’s not. Sore maybe? Sure… but who isn’t in the NFL?

If he was legitimately hurt then the Bengals wouldn’t play him. They’re going to protect their investment.

He’s absolutely playing through an injury tonight dumbfrick. It’s plain to see and it’s been discussed numerous times by Fowler and company.

You can see it in just throwing motion and the velocity on his passes. When is the last time you saw him bounce around in the pocket like he’s so good at? Have you seen him run for any first downs this year?

He’s hurt. And the word was many in the organization wanted him to sit but Joe wants to play.

Where have you been since July when there were dozens of videos of him getting hurt in practice and missing 6 weeks of practice?

he’s missing wide open people and completely throwing to the wrong spots on routes

that has nothing to do with him being mobile

Lol it’s hilarious some people are making up a mythical “injury” as the excuse.

Again… if the Bengals cash cow who they just heavily invested in was legitimately injured, then they would take him off the field. He doesn’t get to make that choice in week 3 of the damn season lol.

yea that poster above that said “well he’s hurt and the organization wants him to sit out but he wants to play so he’s playing” is absolutely laughable

That pick was a great play. Also, Joe is obviously throwing on flat feet most of his throws. Tough to generate much force when you can can't step into it.

Try throwing a football on one leg and get back to me. Burrow already doesn’t have the strongest arm in the league, and not being able to push through his legs is leaving him with little velocity, especially on throws where he has to reset his base ie move in the pocket prior to the throw. And his pocket mobility was always one of his best attributes.
burrow gets a pass for his injury. Mac Jones was just trash last year despite also being injured, having a worse online than the Bengals, and having Matt Patricia calling the offense, and having no receiver on the team that would start for any of the top half of the league

nah, he was better than burrow was in college, and he had a better NFL rookie season than burrow. He just didn't luck out and get his leading receiving target from college on his nfl team (or any good receivers). Mac throwing to devonta Smith on the pats would be the equivalent
