I'm hoping to start doing some serious looking tonight. Glad royal delta just needed stitches for a small cut. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to catch that race on replay

I almost want to put $2 on pool play just because the 2 times I've bet him (strictly because he was pretty ) he's hit at big odds.
Gantry galloping yesterday am:

That's a nice looking horse Aspy. Where is the cut on Royal Delta?

TigerPhan, I have no problem sharing what I like. Well as long as you don't bitch if they don't hit. BC day is probably the hardest group of races to bet on. This year is even worse since they banned Lasix in the 2 year old races.

Right hip. It is all stitched up. She did it loading on the plane. Don't think it will bother her too much,

Yeah, without lasix the 2 yr olds are kind of a crapshoot.

Handicapping is strictly a mathematical process for me, so I'll have to look at the numbers first. I usually end up passing on the big races because they're too contentious.

You mean you don't pick the pretty ponies like aspy does?

I know what I'm doing, but sometimes I still have to bet that way. Boy can't stand it.

My GF rides hunter jumpers and can pick winners just by looking at them in the paddock. So I don't discount that at all, I just don't have the ability.

Just got off the phone with my dad and we are on total ends of the spectrum. This always makes for an interesting day.

this is where it pays to know your pedigrees. shanghi bobby is going to fold like Tyler Bray against bama on saturday lol once he hits the stretch.

Yeah, if it was only that simple. Shanghai Bobby may very well bleed and fold, but I'd say that Pletcher wouldn't risk it, especially after the nonsense a couple of years ago in the Lady Classic.

actually it usually is that simple lol.

harlen's holiday has produced all of 2 horses... mendip and wilcox inn, that have won a graded stakes race past 8F. his best offspring are magesticperfeciton, j z warrior, into mischief, riley tucker.. all sprinters. all dead to right sprinters

and his damsire orietate is Latin for 5F.

throw int he fact that he's off lasix the first time and that pletcher has his horses notriousliy short more times than not in the breeders cu (quality road, life at ten, uncle mo, any given Saturday) the horse doesn't stand a chance in hell of winning this race IMHO.

i mean ti's horse racing you have to take stands. SB is a good horse but this isn't his race.

and shite, even if i gave you all that, i still just dont' think he's as good as bafferts horse. honestly i dont' think he's as good as capo, been running against some shitty competition out east.
