I'm comparing the strategies of rebuilding a farm system to be successful in the future. Whether it's keeping them in the organization or using them as trade assets for acquiring big-time free agents.

Right and how do you think they acquired these guys. Besides free agency some of them were traded for. You can't trade for big time players without having the prospects. Everybody wants pitchers first. Now the Braves have them and they have talented ones. The Braves have 18 young arms in their farm system now with above average talent and 10 of them that will be in the majors eventually.
