Like i said in that braves thread almost a week ago, Cardinals are in a numbers crunch. They have/had 3-4 players coming back, and literally 1 roster spot available.
Hell, they sent Sierra back to AA, and he was hitting .400 in Majors, and getting on base.
Sierra going back down and adams traded opens up 2 slots, so they might have to make another move in next 2 weeks. Reliever to AAA or DL?
That's why i thought Adams to Braves was the perfect fit, plus he's only making 2.8mil, which is a steal for lefty power bat off the bench. Some one was going to steal Adams from Cardinals to free up roster spot, Braves were best fit.
Like to see Adams do well in Atlanta.

Who would you rather have us traded for?...fricking Paul Goldschmit? Adams will be a serviceable replacement for Freddie.
