it's mind blowing, to be honest. AA has done a good job, though, of mixing and matching and finding guys off the scrap heap to come in a do a good job.

Yep, if we could just get an actual closer then our bullpen would actually be a strength of this team.

It could. With how we've scored so much late in games the last 2 years, a reliable bullpen is nasty.

I was going to ask about this. I thought a larger majority of the home games were still early start times. I don't pay attention to their schedule or anything, so seeing these start times made me assume that they were transitioning to primarily a night game schedule.

The Cubs have been expanding the number of night games they play each season, especially during the week. I may try and catch one of the games.

Weather has been odd lately, going from cool and cloudy to sunny and hot to stormy and cool, to warm and humid. All over the damn place, so might be a gametime decision.

Wind blowing out or in tonight?

Just stepped outside and it feels like it's blowing pretty steadily from the SW. So should be blowing out to right/right center.

Of course, with the crazy weather that could change in 5 minutes.

I guess it can be if you want it to be. Seems like both sets of fans always run with daily game threads, so it could be a little fun to mix it up and talk some shite.

At least it shouldn't be as bad as it was for that wild game last April.

If there is not thing that brings out the passion and fire in this guy, its regular season baseball. I'll fricking fight each and every one of you over this 1/162nd of the season.

Honestly, Cubs fans are as hard on their team as anyone, so probably won't be too much shite being talked

Super fan Lester Earl is a Cubs first, braves second kinda guy so he is hard on both his teams.

Also, wind is humming along pretty good right now. from the south I was warm sitting inside so moved outside and of course the wind immediately picks up, the sun goes behind the clouds, and the temp drops about 10 degrees.
