Boom or Bust: Todd Gurley

Coming back from an ACL, I think he will have solid rookie campaign. That said, he does have a history of being injury prone. I can see him being similar to Demarco Murray: Being injured about every year but when he stays healthy having MVP type numbers...

If he recovers 100% and stays healthy he has the potential to be a top NFL RB.
He has no weaknesses and is the best RB prospect since Adrian Peterson.

I don't know if I agree. He'll be like 8 months from ACL surgery when the season starts so he'll have missed out on a ton of workouts/practice time, and I would imagine he won't be stepping in to be a day 1 starter.
I'd say towards the end of 15 he'll start to do well and 16 will be fantastic.

and how likely is that?

Perfect comparison IMO because they are both the total package, but are injury prone.
If he stays healthy he can be Demarco good in the pros too.

IDK - I'm not in tune with his rehab. Doctors are good nowadays tho.
Doesn't discount that he's the best RB prospect in several years. His ceiling is AP esque.

Just wondering, but what makes him a better project than Darren McFadden?

Boom.
I think I'd rather have Melvin Gordon though.

They definitely have similar skills.
In fairness to McFadden, he has played for only Oakland - his career was doomed before even stepping on the field regardless of his injuries.

If it wasn't for his ACL I'd say he'd have a great career. I'm hoping he does.
