Boise State and Utah State are playing today at 10am local time

I remember when LSU played Appalachian State at 10am in Tiger Stadium one year. That shite was miserable. Saw so many students passing out from heat exhaustion.

before Gustav I believe. I just remember that storm knocked the tree in front my house down across all four lanes of Acadian and we were without power for 4 days...fun times.

They are on a broadcast network so that probably has something to do with it.

Tulane played USM in a bowl game at like 10 in the morning two seasons ago. It was January but I remember it still just felt whack

Its in Utah, its not like the fans need a full day to get drunk before the game. Guess it is because CBS has the game.

oh yeah, alcohol was more of a factor than the heat. but it was incredibly hot. IIRC there was a heat advisory and the PA kept telling people to drink water

Yeah, USC said they got up at 4am for the 9am kickoff. 
Pregame warmups:
Get the players going, pregame meal, prep, etc.
But that was local.
Oregon had to go across the country to Ohio State this year for a 9am PT kickoff. Jet lag, biorhythms, etc.
