To be a truly dominant CF team, you need to go on the road and beat good OOC teams in their own house. FSU is making the effort, it should be applauded. Those who deride this effort might be fans of teams without the balls to do it.

Firstly, as a fan of LSU I'm entitled to make any statement I like regarding out of conference scheduling because LSU has played a bunch of quality out of conference games over the last decade.

RE: your statement about beating good OOC teams on the road? I think that's great, but the money issue makes Boise a horrible choice. FSU should just play Notre Dame, Michigan, USC, Oregon, UCLA, Va Tech, LSU, Alabama, A&M, OU, Texas instead

Boise is the team your statement more completely applies to IMO... they play a soft conference schedule and then maybe a BCS team or two (who may or may not turn out to be any good). Boise should set their pride aside and offer to play anyone at their house (like FSU used to do when they were developing as a program).

Fresno plays tough OOC games.

Boise is nowhere close to fresno's OOC schedule the past 15 years.

Boise may have 1 tough OOC game a year and then that is it.

A&M had FSU scheduled as a home and home for a long time but they canceled a couple years before we were to play.

It's a loose loose to play Boise State. If ya beat em they were overrated anyway,if ya loose your in the hole for the rest of the season.

Right so Bama just schedules weak mid majors at home

Boise State is always willing to schedule tough teams.

The only tough games they schedule are always the very first game of the year when they're 100% healthy and have all offseason to prepare.

we shouldn't even be giving any team credit for this... one or both teams might suck by then and this game won't be worth watching
