I don’t think Bo or Woody would consider any Michigan-Ohio State game meaningless, regardless of context.

I don't think anymore since the playoffs began.

Just so you know. The blue bloods in no particular order
Alabama
Ohio State
Michigan
Notre Dame
USC
Texas
Nebraska
Oklahoma
With the exception of USC it’s the 900 wins club. And in two wins it excludes those frickwads from Penn State.

Bo Schembechler was overrated, just like Michigan’s program as a whole and the Big Ten.
Ohio State and the little 13.

I agree with your blue blood assessment and it’s saying something that Bama is still in the 900 win club after having to forfeit a good many games.
ETA: It would be fair to say that LSU and Clemson should be considered not blue blood perhaps but they both are very nuevo wealthy. They don’t have the history but they’re still invited to the Bilderberg meeting now annually.

PJ getting hostile over Michigan?

All the lurking I’ve done I’ve never seen PJ get hostile over Michigan. I’m a misinformed bastard.
ETA: Bo won 13 big ten conference championships from 1969 - 1989. That is impressive and any fan of any program would consider 13 out of 21 seasons with a conference championship would be elite.

Alabama would be 2nd all-time in wins and winning percentage if not for the forfeits and vacated wins.
