The league didn't exactly promote such behavior by suspending Smoove last year. Yea, it was definitely a hard foul on Griffin, but he didn't have to lay on the floor for 15 minutes like Smith was Patrick Willis hitting him over the middle.

For a top 5 physical freak in the NBA, Griffin is a gigantic pussy.

Griffin actually made a 3 from that xact spot a couple of games ago. I hope he doesn't make a habit of this

If he wants to rise to the top, his game will have to expand a little. A corner three is a great spot for him. If teams have to guard him there, he will kill them cutting to the basket.

Of course, he could just be a better FT shooter to be an MVP level player.

22-10
114 & 115 scored in 2 wins against the Clips. They allow 91.5 against the rest of the league.

The Clips want no part of GSW right now

This is somewhat misleading. LAC usually play at a pace of around 94 possessions, but against GSW in both games there were around 101 possessions for each team. That alone will tick up offensive numbers.

That said, GSW has played well against LAC, unfortunately this means nothing come the playoffs. There's no link between regular season success vs a team and playoff success vs a team.

Uh... Golden State in 07 owned Dallas in the regular season and upset them as an 8 seed in the 1st round.

Same with Spurs/Clips last year. It was laughable at ESPN actually making a case that the Clips had a chance in that series.

Both games Clippers had played the night before too, which obviously doesn't happen in the playoffs. Last night their transition defense was especially bad which explains the possessions.

Golden State is impressive though, having a top 10 defense with the players they have is pretty amazing. If they can somehow not screw up Bogut's injury again and get him healthy they could be a really tough matchup for any team.

so you are saying they allowed the other team to control the pace of the game? seems like GSW's plan worked, then? how is that anywhere near misleading?

Clips up 103-66 at the end of the 3rd tonight.

They're staring down the Warriors bench at the end after almost every possession.

This may end in some sort of incident
