Dude dragged a bad Pistons team to the playoffs two years ago, only to play one leg down the stretch. Had a nice renaissance season that year, making 3rd team All NBA. Watched him live that year and he was damn good.

Now that Blake is gone, & The Nets are favored to get him.

Blake is a bench player at this point.

Will a new team get what’s left out of him or he is done done?

I am not sure how much he has left, but it is assuredly more than he showed in detroit this year. I imagine he will play small Ball center with BKN. Also it is safe to say his streak of games without a dunk will come to an end pretty soon here

Odds for what team Blake Griffin will sign with next (Bovada):

Nets -200
Heat +450
Lakers +850
Clippers +850
Warriors +1000

If he goes Nets then no way in hell he doesn't make 5 live appearances on Pardon My Take the next 6 months.

Back to back Blake of the year

He was actually getting some nice reviews in the preseason. I’m sure that the plan was to try to trade him well before they made it public. He’s bad, but maybe not quite that bad.

My guess is that he got all his money for this season and part of next season to ensure he didn’t opt in.

Jesus Christ that is a lot of money. 1 year, 39 million, my God.

When he signed that deal with The Clippers there was speculation that he’d be a buyout candidate at some point.

griffin is a 6’8 spot up shooter and high post passer now

how does he help any of the big teams?

Great question. He’d be great on The Sixers.

Unless he was sandbagging or injured I don’t see why any contending team would want him unless they plan to sit and rehab him because he hasn’t shown any indication he is happy to play a bench role.

When an athletic big loses his bounce the fall is fast and hard. It’s like the Amare Stoudamire situation from awhile back.

he actually would have been a great fit on the Sixers

but he signed with the Nets

I guess he fits as a screener/passer guy that can hit an open jumper and doesnt need the ball much
