Would Gabbert staying for his senior season made any difference?

Unbelievable. The Falcons D just gave my opponent 20 points. I have no chance now.

1 and done in the playoffs after being #1 all season.

Jags are officially the worst team in the NFL right now. I'd take the winless Colts to beat them right now.

How the sheet do they have 5 sacks, 1 int, 3 fumbles AND a defensive TD

I forgot which agent represented Gabbert but he purposely held him out of all the combine stuff except for a very controlled pro-day. Kept his measureables in the dark and enticed GMs into drafting this guy.
sounds like a great agent

Those are his top 4 recievers.

I'm not sure of all their needs but come draft day, a guy like Justin Blackmon would make a lot of sense.

They can run the ball still at least. They hammered the Bucs last week, but are extremely inconsistent. Blackmon would help as well as Marcedes Lewis returning to form. Gabbert has looked lost quite a bit though.

I've seen some of their games this year and he looks timid most of the time. I don't know, I could be way off here, just my opinion.

Gabbert looks scared anytime a defender is near him. That's a terrible sign for an NFL QB.

I still remember the dumb reaction he gave in NYC when he saw Jake Locker picked before him. And for that I will always root against him.

Could Ryan Mallet have done better in this shite show of a Jaguar's Offense

Thats my issue with Gabbert...

Rookie QBs struggle. I have no problem with that. But he just looks scared out there. If he made a few plays every now and then it would be easy to believe in the kid some more. Ponder makes a ton of mistakes. But he still looks poised. Locker completes less than 50% of his passes, but still makes WOW plays.

Gabbert....looks like Tim Couch out there.I wonder what they would do if Barkley or Griffin is there...

Honestly, i had no idea who Gabbert was until about 2 months before the draft. I blame espn and the mainstream media for hyping up this guy.

And yet McShay, Kiper, and all their expert buddies insisted that young Mr. Gabbert was the most "pro ready" of the QB choices last year.

On Sound FX they were covering Jones Drew and one shot was on the huddle at the end of the game. Gabbert tells the O-line, "Way to play 4 quarters of physical football." One of the lineman said, "Thanks Blaine...that means a lot coming from you."

Can't really blame him for that. The Jags line wasn't doing too well pass blocking. He reminds me of David Carr in that he's gotten so used to being hit that he's just getting skittish.

Eugene Monroe got totally burned on one of the fumbles by Gabbert because he could barely get a hand on his guy.

Ryan Mallet

For once, I agree with a Hog fan. Mallet will make a good pro quarterback. Jacksonville has blown it two years in a row at that position. First, they should have taken Tebow to, at the very least, get some butts in the seats. This past year, passing over Mallet was dumb.

I remember my reaction when the "experts" started touted him as the best QB prospect. "WHO!?" Wonder what Elway's grade on Gabbert was

Announcers kept saying he needed to get rid of the ball earlier......hell both tackles didn't block anyone all night. He would have been called for intentional grounding on at least 3 of the sacks if he had thrown it. I'm not a Gabbert fan, but Brees couldn't run that passing game with their line and those no-name receivers.....

His measurables are good. The question is his decision making under pressure.
