Casey Thompson was. He is from Newcastle. He was absolutely the top ranked dual threat QB coming out of HS in Texas. Remember Texas doesn’t recruit outside of the state

He is from Oklahoma. Spencer Sanders was the top QB in the state that year if I remember right and was ranked ahead of Thompson
