I thought he’d be the sure thing hire for South Carolina, what opening is he waiting for? If he has plans on getting a better job, he should move ASAP.

Napier was never getting that job. Tanner wanted his guy and guy like Tanner. Beamer was the only one offered or considered. Napier used it and Carolina used Napier for their benefit
But Vandy if they offer he takes it unless they offer Chadwell first. Chadwell will be UT first choice I believe.

Napier can be more selective than settling for South Carolina. That is a tough gig right now. Napier might have his sights set on LSU or Texas.
