Interview with Bill: LINK

Belichick will co-host the Pat McAfee draft spectacular in Detroit. Bill seems to be on a goodwill PR campaign. Interview with Pat was smiling and making jokes.

He's apparently very funny and engaging in private. The act for the media, while entertaining in its own right, makes it hard for me to picture. Interested to see if he will show any personality.

He was fun with the media until they ran him out of town in Cleveland, and he never gave them another shot. From all accounts, he's a funny sarcastic a-hole that is an encyclopedia of football knowledge.

I remember he seemed like a totally normal, humble and cool dude on the Super Bowl postgame panel a few years back after they beat the rams.

Apparenlty they are doing a pre show just setup how all the players have been evaluated and how Bill would make a draft board, then the show is going to be set up just like Belichick's actual draft rooms, including what teams may be thinking and how he would approach the draft if he had the 33rd pick.

To say this is going to be revealing and fascinating is an understatement.

Despite their behavior towards the media as coaches, Saban and Belichick are both outstanding in these roles

"we're on to Cincinnati"

"I could have done it three times, I could have done it 53 times, It could have been 103 times if that's what they wanted to keep asking, because we had to turn the page,"

Time to turn the page on the legend.

Bob Kraft keeps looking worse and worse with all his shots at Bill.

And bill keeps looking better just never saying anything and talking football

Should be great for their show & they already have the best draft show.

Bill is locked in for it too. Said he’s been watching film on all the first round guys

Can’t wait to hear what he says about Mac Jones/Drake Maye

Watch him on any of the NFL Network retrospectives and this is readily apparent. He's great

As in comparing them? They are drastically different types of QBs/prospects

Pat’s story about last week’s dinner and espresso martini’s was pretty good

He assumed Bill drank a shite ton of coffee since he spends so much time grinding tape.

Pat also said he Bill didn’t go to the bathroom once during their dinner and Pat went like four times. All Bill wanted to do was talk ball, then made a comment how he didn’t drink as much as Pat and didn’t need to piss

Definitely interested in seeing this, Belichick has forgotten more about football than most will ever know.

Would love to see him and Saban on a draft show together to get the differing perspective of an all time college/NFL coach and how they see things.

Just remember folks, Belichick said 12-18 hours before the draft is when all the rumors that have been 99% bullshite for the last 3 months, are now about to be pretty accurate and real.
